What It Is

This is a board game where everyone plays on the same side. You're all trying to stop diseases from spreading across the globe. No individual winners here; you either all win by finding the cures, or you all lose when things get out of hand.

Who This Is For

The box says 6-8 years, but I'd push that a bit. Younger kids in that range might get lost in the strategy and the amount of reading involved. It's more for families with older kids or groups of friends who like working together to solve a problem. Playing with 8 people means everyone needs to be paying attention, and it'll take a while.

What Actually Matters

• Cooperative Play: You win or lose as a team. This cuts down on arguments about who's ahead and focuses everyone on beating the game itself.
• Disease Control: You're constantly managing outbreaks and trying to find cures before the diseases spread too far. It’s a race against the clock, which keeps things pretty tense.

Using It

Keep track of all the small pieces. There are a lot of them, and losing even one could make the game harder to play or even unplayable.

Questions People Ask

Is it hard to learn?

It takes a round or two to get the rules down, but it's not rocket science. You'll be playing properly after the first game.

Can I play alone?

No, this game needs at least 4 people. It's built for group play.

Does it get boring after a few plays?

The way the diseases spread changes each game, and players make different decisions. It feels different every time you set it up.

Is it okay for younger kids?

The age range is 6-8, but younger players might find the strategy and reading difficult. It’s better for kids who can follow complex instructions.
