What to Know

The 16-inch IPS display has a 60Hz refresh rate. That's fine for general use and some less demanding games, but if you're chasing super-smooth motion in fast-paced shooters, you might notice it. The Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processor is new territory for Acer in this kind of machine, paired with an NVIDIA RTX 5070 GPU and 24GB of unified RAM. This combination suggests it's built for tasks that need a good amount of processing power and graphics capability.

You get a decent spread of ports: MagSafe for charging, an SD card slot which is handy for photographers or anyone transferring files from cameras, USB-C, and USB-A. Having both USB types is convenient.

Usage Notes

This laptop is heavy at 2.9kg. It's not something you'll carry around all day without feeling it. Keep that in mind if you plan on moving it between locations frequently.
