What This Actually Means

The AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS processor and NVIDIA RTX 4070 graphics card are the main event here. This setup means you won't be twiddling your thumbs waiting for demanding software, multiple applications, or graphically intense games to load or run. The 64GB of DDR5 RAM helps by letting the system handle a lot of data at once without slowing down.

The 13.3-inch IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate keeps visuals sharp and motion smooth. That 120Hz rate makes a difference in fast-paced games or even just scrolling through long web pages or documents.

Getting It Connected

This machine has a decent selection of ports. You get standard USB-A for older gear, USB-C for newer devices and charging, and the faster Thunderbolt 4. The SD card slot is handy if you work with photos or videos. And for a wired internet connection, there's an Ethernet port.

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of performance can I expect from the RTX 4070?

The NVIDIA RTX 4070 is a powerful graphics card. It can run modern games and handle demanding visual tasks like video editing and 3D rendering.

Is 256GB of storage enough?

For a system with this much processing power, 256GB of SSD storage is on the smaller side. It’s fine for the operating system and a few key applications or games, but you might need external storage for a large media library or extensive game collection.

How portable is this laptop?

At 3.2kg, it's not the lightest laptop. You'll feel it in a bag, but it's manageable for transport between locations. It’s more of a desktop replacement you can move than something you'll carry everywhere.

What colors does it come in?

You can get the Lenovo Legion Go S in Dark Green or Blue.

What are the benefits of the 120Hz refresh rate?

A 120Hz refresh rate means the screen updates its image 120 times per second. This results in smoother motion and a more responsive feel, especially noticeable in fast-paced games and scrolling.
