ProArt Studiobook 16

This thing weighs 2.6kg. It's not exactly a featherweight, so don't expect to forget it's in your bag. If you need something to haul around constantly, maybe look elsewhere. But for what it is, it's a solid build.

What's Inside

This is for people who actually need to get work done, not just browse social media. The Intel Core Ultra 5 235H processor and NVIDIA RTX 5070 GPU mean it can handle some serious tasks. Think video editing, 3D rendering, or whatever else makes your computer sweat. The 36GB of Unified RAM is a good chunk, too.

The Screen

The 15.6-inch IPS display is decent. It's got a 240Hz refresh rate, which means motion will look smooth. If you're doing anything where fast movement matters, like gaming or editing fast-paced video, you'll notice it.

Connectivity

You get a decent spread of ports. USB-C is there, obviously. An SD card slot is handy for photographers or anyone transferring files from cameras. There's also USB-A, and what they're calling "MagSafe" — presumably for charging, though the specifics aren't detailed here.

What It Means for You

The 240Hz refresh rate on the display means that when you're moving things around on screen, it's going to look smoother than on a standard 60Hz laptop. This is helpful if you're working with fast-moving visuals, like editing video or playing games that demand quick reactions.

Having 36GB of Unified RAM means the system can access that memory quickly for demanding applications. It's not just about having a lot of RAM; it's about how efficiently the system can use it.

Usage Notes

This machine is built for performance. Keep it on a flat, stable surface when it's running demanding tasks to ensure proper airflow. The 2.6kg weight means it's meant to sit on a desk or a sturdy table for extended use, rather than being constantly moved around.
