XPS 13 9340

This Dell XPS 13 9340 weighs 1.9kg. It’s not feather-light, but it’s not a brick either. You can carry it around without feeling like you’re lugging a dumbbell.

What's Inside

Under the hood, you've got an AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS processor. That's a serious chip for getting things done, whether it's crunching numbers or editing video. Paired with that is an NVIDIA RTX 4060 GPU. If you’re into gaming or graphics-heavy work, this is where it counts. The 16GB of Unified RAM means the system can access memory pretty quickly, which helps keep things smooth when you have a lot open.

Display and Storage

The screen is 15.6 inches with an IPS display. That means colors should look pretty decent from different angles. It also has a 144Hz refresh rate. For everyday tasks, you probably won't notice much difference from a standard 60Hz screen, but if you're gaming or scrolling through long documents, it can make motion look a lot smoother. You get 512GB of SSD storage. It’s enough space for your operating system, a good chunk of your programs, and some files. It's fast, too, so boot-up times and loading apps should be quick.

Connectivity

You get a mix of ports: USB-A, USB-C, and Ethernet. This means you can still plug in older USB devices, use modern USB-C accessories, and get a wired internet connection if you need something more stable than Wi-Fi. Not every laptop still bothers with Ethernet, so that's something.
