ThinkPad T14s G5

2.6kg. That's what this ThinkPad T14s G5 weighs. It's a laptop, so that's not exactly feather-light, but it's not a brick either. If you're lugging it around daily, you'll notice it, but it won't feel like you're carrying a gym weight. The black color is just black, no fancy finishes. This machine is packing an AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS processor and an NVIDIA RTX 5080 GPU. That's a serious amount of power for a laptop this size. The 24GB of Unified RAM means it can handle a lot of stuff at once without stuttering, and the 2TB SSD gives you plenty of room for files and programs. The screen is 13.3 inches and it's OLED. That means colors should pop and blacks should be really black. The 240Hz refresh rate is fast. For most people, that's overkill, but if you're doing anything where motion is key, like fast-paced games or video editing, you might notice the difference.

What is different

The combination of the OLED screen and the 240Hz refresh rate is the main event here. If you're someone who cares about how visuals look and feel, this is where it shines. The processor and GPU are also beefy, so this isn't just for browsing the web. It's built for tasks that need some serious computing power.

Features Explained

• OLED Display: This means you get really deep blacks and bright colors. It's good for watching videos or looking at photos where color accuracy matters.
• 240Hz Refresh Rate: The screen updates its image 240 times per second. This makes motion look smoother, which is noticeable in fast-moving content.
• 2TB SSD: That's a lot of storage space. You can fit a ton of programs, large files, and media without worrying about running out of room quickly.
• Thunderbolt 4 Ports: These are fast and can do a lot. You can connect high-speed external drives, multiple displays, or docking stations through these ports.

Usage Notes

Keep the vents clear. With this much power packed in, it's going to generate heat. Don't block the airflow if you want it to perform consistently.
